Carlos Tevez claims Chelsea wants him Back

Carlos Tevez has revealed that Premier league giant Chelsea are interested in bringing him back to European football.

The blues recently appointed Antonio Conte as their new manager. The former Juventus manager knows Tevez extremely well after having been the reason behind the Argentine playing at Turin for a couple of years. During his period in Italy, Tevez won the Italian Serie A title on back-to-back occasions. He also came close to helping the Italian outfit win the Champions League. Since then, he has returned to Argentine football with Boca Juniors. He has the intention of ending his career at the place where it all began for him.

Stating this reasons once again, Tevez claimed that he had turned down the opportunity to join Chelsea. He also revealed that there was interest from Fiorentina. At 32 years of age, Tevez may not be a long-term option for both these clubs but having such an experienced forward will be a major boost as both teams try to recover from a very poor campaign. Recently, West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan also revealed that he had looked at the possibility of bringing Tevez back to the London outfit. The Argentine came to prominence in Europe from his time at Upton Park.

"I'm fine at Boca. Indeed my idea, my dream is to finish my career as a player in this wonderful club.Europe? Yes, it's true Napoli and Chelsea seek me, but I repeat what I said before. My desire is to stay at Boca until I retire," said Tevez. The Argentine was a relative unknown in European football when he came to the club in 2007. However, he helped them stay in the Premier league in remarkable circumstances. Even though there have been several legal issues since then, Tevez went on to play for United, Manchester City and Juventus.
