Tevez not coming to West Ham

Carlos Tevez has stated that he is not coming back to the Premier League.

Indeed West Ham were looking to bring back the player that played for them from 2006 to 2007. It is reported that the London club offered the striker a deal of £150,000 a week, but the player rejected the offer judging it to be insufficient. It is believed that the former Juventus player was looking for an offer of around £250,000 a week in order to return to England.

Carlos Tevez was playing for Boca Juniors last season but has since then left the club after having problems with the club’s board. His desire to leave has prompted many clubs to make inquiries about the player, and West Ham were one of those teams. They were hoping to get the player on the cheap as they attempt to build a side to bring them to the next level. It is believed that Atletico Madrid were also interested in signing the Argentine player.

West Ham co-owner has admitted that they were trying to sign the player, but his demands was unrealistic. He said that the player was good in the past but his not worth £250,000 a week anymore. He said that Carlos Tevez was a terrific player when he played at Juventus but at the moment he is not worth this sum of money. This is why they made a lower offer for him.
It is believed now that West Ham is looking for alternatives for Tevez.

They might be interested in signing Carlos Bacca but could find competition from Arsenal difficult to deal with. They are keen to find a player that will help Dimitri Payet up front. Indeed, they have been relying too much on Payet last season and would want to make some additions to the team.
