Tevez does not regret returning to Boca Juniors despite their form
Boca Juniors is seriously struggling to secure victories at a consistent pace and almost all of the results that the Argentine club is getting are either draws or just defeats.
This underwhelming form of Boca Juniors kicked off from the beginning of 2016 when they lost against Racing Club in a match that saw Boca Juniors losing 2-4 during a summer tournament.
Things have been going in the same way for Boca Juniors when it comes to their league results as they are dropping points in every single match and even though they are working hard trying to turn things around, unfortunately for the team of Guillermo Barros Schelotto it just doesn’t show in the results.
In spite of all these disappointing results, when Carlos Tevez was asked if he regrets having decided to join Boca Juniors instead of staying with his former club Juventus, the Argentine attacker replied by saying that he is not upset about the decision of returning to Boca Juniors as Tevez said that he is exactly where he wants to be.
The 32 year old attacker Carlos Tevez said: ‘’I do not regret coming back. I'm in the place I want to be. 'We are not good, the team is not good, and the team is not generating enough chances to score goals. The first thing we have to do is to start creating opportunities to score goals, I was asked to be 9, but the ball does not come enough. I try to get down to generate goal-scoring situations but it hasn’t been working out.’’
Guillermo Barros Schelotto has been in charge of Boca Juniors for less than 1 month but the pressure is quickly rising as the Argentine coach is not getting the results that he needs and it’s starting to affect the morale of the team as they keep on dropping points at a fast rate.
