Carlos Tevez believes that his team Juventus has got good chance of achieving glory in the Europa League as well as in the Italian top flight this season.
Tevez was signed by Juventus during the pre season transfer window and he has done his bit for the club in his tenure of 6 months so far. He has already found the net more than 10 times in the Serie A for the White-Blacks.
However, despite putting up good performances regularly, Tevez couldn’t prevent his team from getting knocked out from the earlier stages of the Champions League, but, he doesn’t want the same to happen in the Europa League which is the second most prestigious competition in Europe.
Talking to the reporters a few days ago, the 29 years old striker said, “I have won every top tournament in which the clubs participate except Europa League. I want to win it too and we are in with a good chance this time around.”
“I want the league title as well. I have been part of the league winning teams in quite a few countries in the past, but, not in Italy. So, it would be great if we lift both those trophies and complete the double.”
“I know it’s not that easy. We are at the top of the table, but, we still have to face some strong teams on their home grounds and things can turn around quickly. But, I think we are good enough to be at the top right till the end.”
The exact amount that had been spent by Juventus to bring Tevez to Turin last summer was 10 million Pounds which was not that much considering the capability of the Argentinean international.
In total, Tevez has played 25 matches for Juventus till now.
